Buyer Profile: Barbara and Paul Nazzaro, Boston

Barbara and Paul Nazzaro love living in Boston, where they are active and enjoy spending time outdoors. The harsh New England winters, however, were starting to wear them down. “We’ve been talking about moving to Florida for quite some time to escape the winters, and we knew we wanted to be on the beach because Paul and our twin, 21-year-old sons are avid offshore anglers,” Ms. Nazzaro explained.

VistaBlue Singer Island was one of the first properties her family visited, and “we just fell in love,” she said. “The big thing for us was obviously the view – that’s what sealed the deal. But we really like Singer Island – it feels naturalized and quiet, not overbuilt or crowded.  We wanted close proximity to Palm Beach and Jupiter too; we were looking for the best of both worlds and VistaBlue fit the bill. We love its natural setting, the spectacular white sand beach in front of the building, which has surf and warm water. There are parks and nature preserves where we can kayak, bike, and run. The boys are just a few miles away from world-class off-shore fishing, yet we are just a quick drive to some of the best shopping, restaurants and culture on the East Coast.”

In December, after visiting the VistaBlue Singer Island Sales Gallery and touring the property under construction, the Nazzaros signed a contract on a three-bedroom, three-bath, 3,368-square-foot southwest-facing residence on one of the upper floors, allowing for spectacular views of both the beach and sunsets over the Intracoastal Waterway.

Contemporary luxury high-rise living will be a new adventure for the Nazzaros, who own traditional New England homes in Boston and on Cape Cod. Ms. Nazzaro, who runs A Simply Staged Home, a home staging and interior styling business in Boston, is excited about how VistaBlue’s architecture and common spaces embrace the natural environment.

“Living in New England, I would describe our tastes as traditional with a twist,” she said. “I try to bring a little of the outdoors and natural surroundings to every project I work on, and this home will be no different. But it’s shaping up to be more of an eclectic, Palm Beach vibe with lots of texture and interesting elements: whites, creams, beiges, soft and relaxing with touches of vibrant green. I’m excited about that.”

“I believe there is inspiration all around us, in every place and every home, but sometimes we fail to see it,” she continued. “There will be no shortage of inspiration living at VistaBlue.”
