Palm Beach’s Delicious Dining Scene Builds on New York’s Best

For the past several years, Florence Fabricant, food and wine writer for The New York Times, has hosted a series called “Stirring the Pot: Conversations with Culinary Celebrities,” at Guild Hall, an arts, entertainment and education center located in East Hampton, Long Island. VistaBlue Singer Island is one of this year’s sponsors.

Inspired by this exploration of New York’s most iconic chefs, we decided to showcase Palm Beach’s impressive dining scene and celebrity chefs – many with ties to New York. This year’s series at Guild Hall kicks off with a conversation with iconic French chef Jacques Pépin (Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. tickets here), which is why we decided to start our Palm Beach dining series with a focus on a French favorite:

Café Boulud
Café Boulud Palm Beach, Chef Daniel Boulud’s award-winning restaurant, is located at the historic Brazilian Court Hotel and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service. The popular dining destination, which debuted in 2003, revealed new renovations in fall of 2016, featuring an expanded and relocated bar, sleek contemporary design and an exciting new menu of incredible modern French cuisine.

What makes this restaurant stand out?

Executive Chef Rick Mace explains…

“Café Boulud Palm Beach was Chef Daniel’s first restaurant outside of New York City.  Here, we work every day to create an inviting French-American restaurant on Palm Beach reflects our Florida surroundings in a menu of French classics alongside familiar American fare. ‘Every dish has a story’ is one of Chef Daniel’s most insightful mantras to me. We want to continue cooking with tradition as we add our own touches. Classical preparation is equally important as modernity and creativity here.”
